At its meeting on 15th December 2009, the FFV Board approved the registration, team entry and affiliation fee structure for 2010.
Based on feedback from clubs and aligning age groups to the National Curriculum, there have been some improvements to the schedule, namely:
- Reduction in the supplementary registration fee for players transferring to another club during the season
- Introduction of an Over 35’s (metro only) registration fee
- Small Sided Football registration fee age group is now 5 to 11 years, therefore 11 year old players will be at a cheaper rate than in past seasons
- Junior red card fee will decrease to 0.5 of a penalty point
- Playing ineligible players fine has been reduced to $250 for the Men’s Thirds & Masters, Women’s State 1 & 2, Women’s Metro, Junior Boys and Girls.
A Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase of 3.1% has been applied to all fees.
The affiliation fees payment schedule is as follows:
- 1st instalment of 30% invoiced 4th January 2010
- 2nd instalment of 35% invoiced 1st March 2010
- 3rd instalment of 35% invoiced 31st May 2010
Coach Education Registration Fee
Improving our communications and services to coaches is a focus for 2010. An incentive based program has been developed by the Game Development team that will be funded through a $100 Coach Registration fee. A $50 discount on this fee will apply to clubs that have a coach and a further $50 will apply for club coaches that are accredited at the appropriate level. Therefore if your club has appropriately accredited coaches for your teams, no coach registration fee applies.
Since then, the 2010 Fee Schedule has been updated to include two changes:
- The Penalty Unit for disciplinary matters has been reduced to $100
- The Coach Registration Fee will also apply to Under 9 and Under 11 Small Sided Football teams
