The Under 15 Boys division in the Victorian Champions League has been played at a consistently high standard during the season, and the two weekend Championship Series will be no different.

North West Wanderers came through the regular season in top spot, but Central City FC was hot on their heels, scoring 38 goals and only conceding three. Western Wolves and South East Cougars finished third and fourth respectively, both teams separated by goal difference only.

Pool A will see the Wanderers face off against Eastern FC and North East Diamonds. Pool B has a Regional flavour with Central City FC playing their pool matches against Wimmera/South Coast Eagles and Rivers FC. Loddon Mallee Lightning, Southern Blue Tongues and Western Wolves play off in Pool C and Pool D will have Gippsland Knights, South East Cougars and Northern Allstars playing some tough matches.

While the Under 15 Boys had a colossal 245 goals scored during the season, all teams shared the goal scoring around between their players, which indicated a high level of foot skills and teamwork amongst this division. Central City’s Nicolas Kassidas and Michael Gerace shared the Top Goal Scorer award for 2009/10 with 9 goals each.

Players to keep an eye out for in the Under 15 Boys are Peter Skapetis of Central City, Caleb Ludlow of South East Cougars and Nicolas Brown from North West Wanderers.
