Football Federation Australia, with the support of the Australian Government through the Australian Sports Commission, is supporting the first ever Pacific Youth and Sports Conference (PYASC) in New Zealand from 15-20 March, 2010.
Bringing together over 1,000 young people from 25 Pacific territories, the PYASC will provide youth in the region with an opportunity to discuss important issues in the areas of health, education and training, citizenship and good governance, social integration and anti-discrimination – and how they relate to sport participation.
The week-long conference will include a series of seminars, workshops, exhibitions and roundtable meetings - designed entirely by youth.
Registrations are open to young people from 16 to 25 years and close 15 February 2010. Sport and youth leaders who are over 25 are also welcome in an observer capacity.
